Regional South Manager - South
THE ROLE OF REGIONAL SALES MANAGER:
As the Regional Sales Manager for the South, you will be responsible for managing a team of field-based sales professionals whose primary focus is to gain new distribution for one of the world's biggest brands in the vaping category, launching their exciting range of vape pod kits, salts and e-liquids, by building and nurturing relationships with key decision makers within retail stores. As the Regional Sales Manager, you will work to deliver on targets, objectives and KPI's through the team, set by the National Sales Manager for this brand who you will report into.
Your main responsibilities will be to effectively plan your diary to ensure you are spending adequate time in the field with your team, coaching, developing, and training them in the key aspects of their job role which are to:
1. Research and identify prospective customers through varied lead generation tactics.
2. Build close partnerships with independent retailers to drive sales of vape products.
3. Drive business growth through effective sales strategies, delivering compelling presentations and pitches and closing deals.
4. Ensuring high levels of customer service are delivered, as promised, to the customer at all times.
5. Manage their time and territory plan effectively to maximise productivity and meet (and exceed!) all KPI's and targets set.
6. Ensure CRM systems are kept up to date and admin is kept on top of.
ABOUT YOU:
Essentials:
7. A full driving license
8. Demonstrable track record of working in a team leader capacity within an FMCG company selling to independent retail, cash & carry's or wholesalers.
9. Excited by the prospect of working in a fast paced, start-up environment
10. Great team player with the ability to inspire and motivate, with an outgoing & approachable personality
11. Be highly organised with great time management skills
12. Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft outlook
13. Ideally located along the m4 corridor
WHAT WE OFFER:
14. Base Salary up to: £38,500
15. Commission: 20%
