Job Description
Come and join our fantastic team at Kilpatrick School.
We are an all-through Special School providing education from birth to 18 years of age for children and young people with complex additional support needs.
Kilpatrick Early Years’ Service (KEYS) offers sessions for babies and children from 0-3 years of age; our school also has Primary and Secondary classes.
Our new school building is set within our picturesque and leafy school grounds, featuring outstanding facilities such as an adventure play park, outdoor all-weather pitch, hydrotherapy pool, hospitality kitchen and shop, technical workshop, science laboratory, sensory and light rooms, and classrooms equipped with state-of-the-art ICT.
Our dedicated staff work with many agencies and organizations to ensure we meet the needs of our students. Our school vision is "Nurturing Potential Together".

Requirements
Applicants must complete and upload the Head Teacher's report template with their application. This is mandatory and should be attached in the 'COVER LETTER' section. No separate cover letter is required.

* Evidence of Catholic Church Approval is required. Applicants must seek approval and submit proof prior to interview. Pending approval confirmation from the Church is acceptable.
* Denominational Primary posts require the Catholic Teaching Certificate or Catholic Religious Education Certificate. More info is available at SCES website.

Responsibilities
This role involves regulated work with children under the PVG scheme. Membership with PVG or an update check is mandatory before a formal offer.
Employment is excepted from certain provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders (Scotland) Order 1975. Applicants must disclose all convictions, including spent ones, as failure to do so can lead to dismissal.
