Working on behalf of our client based on a site in Broughton, we are currently recruiting for an Assistant Site Manager.
This role will be joining a team on a high-profile engineering construction project located on a live manufacturing site. This role is critical in supporting the delivery of construction activities while maintaining strict adherence to Health & Safety (H&S) standards and site operational protocols.
Key Duties:
* Assist the Site Manager in overseeing day-to-day site operations and ensuring works are delivered to programme.
* Coordinate subcontractors, deliveries, and site logistics to ensure efficiency and safety.
* Monitor and enforce Health & Safety compliance in line with company and legislative requirements.
* Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and toolbox talks.
* Maintain accurate site records including daily logs, site inductions, and permits.
* Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders and help manage communications on site.
* Support in quality control, reporting, and ensuring works are completed to the required standards.
What we are looking for in the successful candidate:
1. Previous experience working on construction or engineering projects, preferably on live operational or manufacturing sites.
