Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a range of residential and commercial projects. They will work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and clients to ensure all quotes and proposals are delivered on time and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and submit detailed quotations and tender documents
* Interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications
* Liaise with clients, suppliers, and contractors to clarify project requirements
* Obtain and evaluate pricing from subcontractors and suppliers
* Maintain comprehensive records of all estimates and project changes
Candidate Profile
* Previous experience in an estimator role within the construction industry
* Roofing sector experience is highly advantageous
* Strong analytical and numerical skills
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Proficient in estimation tools and Microsoft Office suite
