HR&WOD Analyst and Management Information Officer

We are seeking a highly organised and analytical individual to join our HR & Workforce Organisational Development (WOD) team within the Chief Executives Department. This is a dynamic role that combines HR support, data analysis, and business information management to help drive strategic decision‑making across NCC.
Main Duties
* Develop and maintain high‑level business support processes across HR&WOD functions.
* Analyse and reconcile large budgets, producing complex financial reports for monthly forecasting.
* Monitor expenditure and report variances to the Senior Business Partners.
* Produce and interpret management information reports and benchmarking data.
* Support contract management and procurement activities to ensure value for money.
* Maintain accurate financial forecasts for Services for Schools and consultancy activity.
* Ensure HR‑related information on internal platforms reflects current policies and procedures.
* Provide data for Freedom of Information requests in collaboration with Information Governance.
* Manage and supervise the HR&WOD Support team, ensuring high performance and quality standards.
* Act as a source of advice on relevant HR services, policies, and processes, including complex queries.
You’ll Bring
* Strong analytical skills with experience in interpreting complex data and financial information.
* Excellent organisational and digital skills.
* Knowledge of HR processes and systems, ideally within a public sector setting.
* Experience managing or supervising staff and coordinating team activity.
* Confidence in liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including national bodies.
* A proactive approach to problem‑solving and continuous improvement.
