LOCUM APPOINTMENT FOR TRAINING IN OPTHALMOLOGY
SOUTH EAST SCOTLAND

Applications are invited for the above posts in the South East Scotland Ophthalmology Training Programme.
2 LAT posts are available for 12 months from 06/08/2025 until 04/08/2026, one at LAT1 and one LAT3. Another post is available for 6 months from 06/08/2025 to 11/02/2026. The appointments have deanery approval for training and the successful applicants will receive opportunities in general and subspecialty ophthalmology at a level based on previous experience. The posts may be based in either the Princess Alexandra Eye Pavilion or Queen Margaret Hospital Fife or Borders General Hospital

Applications are welcome for the above Fixed Term, Full time (40 hours per week) post based in South East Scotland.
This post has deanery approval for training and the successful applicant will receive training opportunities at the appropriate level based on previous experience.
There may be a possibility to extend this appointment to the end of the training year. The extension may be at any of the hospitals on the rotation.
