The Job
We are currently recruiting an enthusiastic and highly organised Quality Control (QC) Inspector to join our team on a Fixed Term Contract for 6 months covering maternity leave. This role is part of the Technologies group reporting to the QHSE Director.
You will be responsible for the inspection of machined parts received at our Farnborough site so we are looking for someone with similar experience ideally within the manufacturing sector.
The purpose of the role is to provide quality control inspection of drawn parts prior to their transfer to stock. Associated activities include preparing non-conformance reports and supporting suppliers to continually improve.
Key Responsibilities
1. Carry out mechanical inspection of drawn parts on receipt and prior to acceptance into stock
2. Raise non-conformance reports
3. Coordinate supplier non-conformance resolution, including root cause and corrective action
4. Participate in drawn parts supplier audits and reviews
