Science Teacher – Dorchester

A thriving and forward-thinking secondary school in Dorchester is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join its dynamic team from January 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated educator to inspire curiosity and achievement in Science across Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will plan and deliver stimulating lessons that encourage students to explore scientific ideas and develop strong analytical skills.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Experience teaching Science within a secondary school environment
• A solid understanding of the KS3 and KS4 Science curriculum
• Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
• A passion for motivating young people and bringing learning to life through practical and engaging teaching
