The stunning Bristol Harbour Hotel is looking for an Operations Manager to join the team, overseeing the thriving operational departments of this 42-bedroom hotel with an inviting restaurant, a busy meetings and events space, and a luxury spa.
As part of Harbour Hotels' commitment to develop internally, this role is a stepping stone to becoming a General Manager. It is ideally suited for a senior Head of Department seeking to progress into their first Operations Manager role, or a first-time Operations Manager looking for a larger, more prestigious hotel with ambitions to become a General Manager in the future.
As a 4-star hotel in the luxury lifestyle sector, the ideal candidate should have a good understanding of service delivery, team development, and managing all commercial aspects of a busy, successful hotel. Leadership skills are essential, with a strong team of department heads to motivate and inspire, ensuring targets are met and exceeded, while being a true people’s champion.
The candidate will have previous experience in hotel operations, demonstrating successful management of high-volume F&B, large events, and knowledge of front office, rooms, and spa operations, with a view to becoming a future General Manager within the luxury lifestyle hospitality sector.

It occupies the former Lloyds and Midland Bank locations, featuring 42 bedrooms, a subterranean HarSPA, Harbour Kitchen Restaurant, and a speakeasy-inspired Gold Bar. The hotel is also one of Bristol’s premier meeting and event venues, with three flexible rooms for gatherings of up to 400 attendees.
