Senior Support WorkerPay rate: £15.50 per hour - weekly or monthly payHours:36 hours per weekShift pattern:08.00-20.00 and 20.00-08.00Location:Wotton-under- EdgeRequirement:Full UK driving licence and own transport due to location of the roleAre you an experienced Support Worker ready to step up, or already working at Senior level?We are recruiting Senior Support Workers to provide on-shift leadership within a highly complex, 24/7 support package for a young man with an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI).This role sits above Support Worker level and is responsible for maintaining consistency, modelling best practice, and supporting the wider team to work in line with agreed care and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans.This is a step above Support Worker level, suited to experienced individuals who are confident leading others, maintaining consistency, and supporting high-quality, person-centred care in dynamic environments.What you'll be doingAs a Senior Support Worker, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and consistent delivery of support on shift.You will lead by example, guide colleagues in real time, and help maintain a safe, structured, and positive environment. You will:Provide high‑quality support on a 3:1 basisProvide on-shift leadership and direction to Support WorkersEnsure all care is delivered in line with care plans and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategiesSupport colleagues to maintain consistency in approach and communicationAct as a point of escalation during complex or challenging situationsPromote best practice and model high standards of careEnsure accurate recording, documentation, and handoversEscalate concerns appropriately and contribute to ongoing service improvementAbout YouWe're looking for confident, resilient, experienced individuals who can lead from the front and have experience in:Significant experience supporting individuals with ABI and/or complex needsStrong working knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)Experience guiding or mentoring other staff on shiftThe ability to remain calm, decisive, and professional under pressureExcellent communication and organisational skillsA proactive and solution-focused approachMust hold a Full UK Driving Licence-due to nature of the roleWho we areacuity care delivers specialist support across Brain Injury, Spinal Injury, Learning Disability & Autism, and Mental Health Services.
