Salary – Up to £30,000
Are you someone who thrives on uncovering the truth, investigating claims, and engaging with customers and third parties? If you have experience in insurance, fraud prevention, or investigative roles, we’d love to hear from you!
A bit about the job:
As a Commercial Property Counter Fraud Investigator, you will play a key role in identifying and investigating potentially fraudulent property claims. You’ll be responsible for reviewing cases referred from various sources, conducting thorough investigations, and ensuring that genuine claims are settled swiftly.
This role requires excellent communication skills as you will liaise with customers and third parties while managing your own caseload of active investigations. You’ll need to use initiative, make quick decisions when necessary, and balance working independently with collaborating as part of a team.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
o Experience in commercial insurance claims, fraud investigation, or a related field.
o Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
o Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
o Ability to manage a personal caseload and prioritise effectively.
o Knowledge of UK fraud legislation, including The Fraud Act 2006 (desirable but not essential).
What you’ll get for this role:
Our purpose - with you today, for a better tomorrow – is a promise we make to our colleagues too. And one of the ways we live up to that promise is by investing in you. We have so much to offer when it comes to being an Aviva colleague.
o Salary – Up to £30,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
o Bonus opportunity - 6% of annual salary. Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
o Generous pension scheme - Aviva will contribute up to 14%, depending on what you put in.
o 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, with options to buy or sell up to 5 days.
o Make your money go further - Up to 40% discount on Aviva products and other retailer discounts.
o Up to £1,200 of free Aviva shares per year through our Matching Share Plan and share in the success of Aviva with our Save As You Earn scheme.
o Supportive policies including parental and carer’s leave.
o Flexible benefits such as cycle to work, etc.
o Volunteer days and community engagement opportunities.
o Wellbeing support and resources.
