Salary: £30,000 – £55,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)

Discipline: Audit & Accounts (split to be confirmed)

The Role

As an Audit Senior, you will take responsibility for leading audit engagements from planning through to completion, reporting directly to Audit Managers and Partners. You’ll play a key role in supervising junior staff, ensuring compliance with audit and accounting standards, and maintaining excellent client relationships.

The audit and accounts split for this position will be confirmed based on experience and preference, offering the opportunity to tailor the role to your strengths and career ambitions.

Key responsibilities include:

* Leading and managing audit assignments from planning through to finalisation
* Supervising and reviewing work of junior team members, providing support and training where necessary
* Preparing statutory financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP and FRS 102
* Liaising directly with clients to resolve queries and provide technical advice
* Ensuring audits are completed within deadlines and budget
* Contributing to the firm’s continuous improvement culture, identifying efficiencies and quality enhancements
* Assisting in the preparation of management accounts and ad hoc financial reports where required

About You

You will be a confident communicator and technically capable professional who enjoys working collaboratively with clients and colleagues. You should be comfortable taking responsibility for your own workload and supervising others in a busy, supportive environment.

Requirements:

* ACA / ACCA Qualified or Finalist
* Previous experience within a UK practice environment, ideally in audit and accounts preparation
* Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
* A proactive and professional approach with a genuine commitment to client service
