Job Description
Get into Everyday Banking
Think savings, current accounts and payments sound a bit… ordinary? Think again. This is the beating heart of Lloyds Banking Group, where 30 million customers make life's big (and small) money moves. From paying for the weekly shop to saving for first homes, the products you'll work on keep the UK ticking.
Everyday Banking is where money meets real life. With savings, current accounts and payments at its core, it's one of Lloyds' most diverse and dynamic areas.
On our Everyday Banking Industrial Placement, you'll use data and customer insights to shape smarter strategies. Helping us strengthen relationships, boost deposits and grow responsibly. This isn't about watching from the sidelines; it's about crafting the future of Everyday Banking and seeing your ideas in action.
What you'll be doing
On this placement, you could be:
* Shaping savings, current account and payment products used by millions.
* Digging into customer insights to simplify journeys and solve pain points.
* Experimenting with AI, automation and data visualisation tools like Tableau, Looker and Power BI.
* Working with pricing teams to test models that balance value for customers with commercial goals.
* Collaborating with digital, marketing and operations teams to bring new ideas to life.
* Learning Agile ways of working in cross-functional squads that deliver fast.
Why it's worth it
* Live projects from day one - not "watch and learn," but "try, test, and present to senior leaders."
* Cutting-edge tools - from AI copilots to Jira, you'll see how big banking runs behind the scenes.
* Real-world impact - help design banking products that are inclusive, forward-thinking and ready for the future.
* Career launchpad - with mentorship, networking and development built in, this isn't just a placement. It's a springboard.
Requirements
What you need to apply

* While we do not require a set projected minimum degree achievement, we strongly recommend the ability to demonstrate sound knowledge, understanding and technical skills aligned to the role. Some aspects of this, alongside behaviours and values, will be assessed through the application process.
* We are unable to offer sponsorship for this programme and you must have full, unlimited right to work in the UK.
* Knowledge of at least one modern programming language or framework.
* A genuine passion for technology and the drive to keep learning.
