Are you an experienced finance professional looking for a meaningful part-time role in the charity sector?
We are delighted to be recruiting a Finance Manager on behalf of a well-established and highly respected Glasgow-based charity. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified or fully qualified accountant who is looking for a flexible three-day-per-week role where you can make a genuine impact.
Reporting to the Chief Executive and working closely with the Board, you will take overall responsibility for financial management while supporting the organisation’s long-term sustainability and operational effectiveness.
The Role:
* Lead financial planning, budgeting, and cash-flow forecasting
* Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports for the Senior Management Team and Board
* Oversee the Sage accounting system and ensure strong financial controls
* Manage day-to-day finance operations including income, expenditure, and payroll coordination
* Ensure compliance with charity accounting standards and governance requirements
* Support strategic decision-making through high-quality financial analysis
* Contribute to organisational risk management and resilience
About You:
* Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (or qualified by experience)
* Strong Sage experience and confident producing management accounts
* Proven experience in budgeting and cash-flow management
* Experience within the charity or voluntary sector is desirable
* Excellent Excel and IT skills
* Proactive, organised, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
* Strong communicator, able to work effectively with senior stakeholders
