Youll play a pivotal role in the delivery of complex trust administration, settlement work, and specialist tax advice, working within a nationally recognised team of experts. Key Responsibilities of the Trusts and Tax Solicitor Manage a varied and high-quality caseload involving trust settlements, trust administration, and specialist tax advice Provide tailored advice throughout the trust lifecycle, including inheritance and capital gains tax implications Draft settlements, letters of wishes, and all supporting trust documentation Work collaboratively within a supportive and technically strong Private Client team Proactively contribute to business development and the strategic growth of the trusts practice Supervise junior colleagues where required and support internal training and mentoring Attend client meetings and occasional travel for training or BD initiatives Deliver exceptional client care while maintaining regulatory and quality standards Candidate Profile Were seeking a technically strong, personable, and commercially minded Trusts and Tax Solicitor who thrives in an advisory-led environment and enjoys being part of a team where quality, care, and integrity come first. Essential Skills & Experience: UK-qualified solicitor with a minimum of 3 years' PQE in Private Client law Strong demonstrable experience in trust creation, administration, and taxation Sound knowledge of estate planning, tax mitigation strategies, and related private client matters Excellent communication, drafting, and client-handling skills Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and case management systems Comfortable working with minimal supervision and collaborating with wider teams Desirable: STEP qualification or working towards it Leadership or line management experience within a Private Client team Interest in public speaking, training, or wider knowledge-sharing initiatives Why Join?
