Job Description
Brook Street are working with a highly-reputable company based in Swansea who are looking to add to their finance team with a Part-qualified, or qualified experienced Accountant. This is a full time role, Monday to Friday, 9-5, fully on-site.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare month-end management accounts and submit results to head office
2. Assist with year-end statutory accounts preparation, group consolidation, and audit queries
3. Monitor and review team progress towards monthly targets and task completion
4. Produce monthly reports including stock breakdown, debtors and creditors reconciliations
5. Prepare financial report presentations for group companies and participate in management review meetings
6. Support quarterly budget preparation by branch/company
7. Reconcile inter-company accounts and perform bank reconciliations
8. Analyse assets/liabilities held in different currencies to support forward exchange contracts
9. Review sales cut-off and revenue recognition monthly
10. Assist with internal audit (JSOX) evidence and reporting requirements
11. Review monthly reconciliations prepared by team members and ensure financial controls are effective
12. Participate in preparing transfer pricing documentation
13. Support various internal projects and ad hoc reporting as required
Requirements
14. Qualified or near-qualified with a recognised ACCA or CIMA
15. Strong Excel skills essential
16. Experience using SAP highly desirable
17. Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritise effectively
18. A team player with excellent organisational skills
