Job Description
As the Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for:
3. Manage all vendor correspondence via phone or email
4. Prepare and review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
5. Prepare, process and send accounts payable cheques
6. Identify and implement improvements to the payment process
7. Reconcile monthly statements and related transactions
8. Assist in month end closing
9. Maintain files and documentation in accordance with company policy
10. Analyse and resolve payment discrepancies
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:
11. Proven working experience in the Accounting & Finance field
12. Strong understanding of accounts payable
13. Proficiency in MS Office and data entry
14. Excellent communication and organisational skills
15. Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks
16. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
