Duties
* Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients as needed.
* Perform food preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces.
* Support chefs and cooks during service by preparing ingredients and assisting with plating dishes.
* Follow food safety guidelines to ensure proper handling and storage of food items.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods.
* Assist with catering events as required, ensuring all food is prepared according to specifications.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not mandatory.
* Strong cooking skills with an emphasis on knife skills and meal preparation techniques.
* Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
* A passion for the culinary arts and eagerness to learn from experienced chefs.

Pay: Up to £12.21 per hour
