The main responsibilities and requirements of the role will include:
• Designing, maintaining, and improving manufacturing processes and equipment
• Focus on welding, joining technologies, and automation systems.
• Carry out cycle-time studies, process optimisation, and quality improvements to ensure efficiency and compliance with safety and production standards.
• Support new product introduction, resolve technical issues on robot cells and tooling
• Provide engineering solutions to maintain consistent production output.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate the following:
• Be a time-served Electrical/Mechanical/Multi-Skilled engineer
• Have a HNC qualification in Electrical or Mechanical engineering
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead and motivate others
• Effective work / time management skills
• Good communication skills at all levels
