iMultiply is working with a well established, independent accountancy practice based in Glasgow to recruit a Tax Manager.
The Firm
This Chartered Accountancy practice is friendly and approachable and provides accountancy and tax services to Owner Managed Businesses and High Net Worth Individuals.
The Role
The position of Tax Manager will report directly to the Directors of the firm and will involve all aspects of running and overseeing the Tax operation.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Undertaking corporate tax reviews for a number of small and medium sized entities
* Preparation and filing of personal tax returns for HNW individuals and more complex cases
* Year end tax planning
* Providing routine and complex advice in relation to ad hoc taxation queries.
* Assisting with the MTD transition for income tax
* Maintaining and building strong client relationships
Experience, Qualifications and Attributes
1. Preferably a fully qualified Tax professional (CTA/CA/ACCA) with several years experience of mixed tax compliance and advisory work
2. Managerial experience
3. Client facing experience
4. Good working knowledge of Iris or similar software
