Registered manager required for our 25 bedded residential care home in Oswestry.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Care Home Manager to oversee the running of our residential care home and to help the home regain its "good" CQC Rating, (The rating awarded for 40 years) Following a poor report earlier this year, we have made many improvements and continue to make improvements with a view to regaining a rating of "Good". As registered manager you will receive support from an experienced and committed provider, and an experienced, kind and friendly group of staff.
Duties
* Foster a positive and caring environment that encourages teamwork, professional development, and leadership among staff members.
* Conduct regular assessments of resident needs and ensure that appropriate "Person Centred" care plans are developed and followed.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain high standards of health and safety within the facility.
* Manage daily operations of the care home, including staffing, some budgeting, and resource allocation.
* Liaise with healthcare professionals, families, and external agencies to promote resident welfare and support.
* Develop and implement policies and procedures that enhance the quality of care within the home.
Experience
* Experience as a Registered Manager within a care home (2 years minimum)
* Good knowledge of care home practices, recording systems and regulatory frameworks governing care homes
* Good leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
* Level 5 or above qualification in Health and Social Care required
* Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with a compassionate approach to resident care.
