Skills, experience, and qualities you’ll need
We are looking for a high calibre Food & Beverage Manager that can create an environment where a team thrives and our guests can sit back and take away memories that will last a lifetime; whilst still having an analytical mind that can process KPI's and drive the right behaviour though standards and leading the way.
You will need to develop an in-depth understanding of the commercial aspects of all our operational businesses on the park, so you will need to:
1. Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
2. Manage, lead, train, and motivate a team to deliver delight
3. Oversee the smooth running of the bar and restaurant, the preparation for service, as well as overseeing service and supervising the after-service duties.
4. Maximise sales whilst driving profitable growth with care and flair
5. Carry out regular stock takes and orders, as necessary.
6. Handle deliveries and ensure health and safety regulations are always enforced
7. Oversee and contribute to any project work as part of the upcoming development
8. The preparation and management of budgets for resources on the park, to deliver annual profit targets in food and beverage, arcade and gaming
9. Identifying and maximising business opportunities
10. Monitoring and maintaining cost controls to create efficiencies across the business
11. Managing the development, coaching and performance of the Food & Beverage and Retail teams, promoting the Holiday Heroes culture that makes our holiday park a great place to work
12. Helping to deliver the highest level of guest experience to all our guests
13. Developing close working relationships with the other managers on the park as well as other areas of the business, gaining an understanding of what drives their side of the business and how you can help them with commercial information
14. Being a professional interface with the owners and stakeholders of the business and with external suppliers and other important contacts
