Qualified Social Worker – Transitions Team (Adults)
Buckinghamshire Council is hiring a Qualified Social Worker for the Transitions Team (Adults).
Overview
We have a Qualified Social Worker role available in the supportive Transitions Team covering the whole county. The wellbeing of our colleagues is important, and we encourage a healthy work-life balance and flexible, agile working arrangements. You will receive parking and an essential car user allowance, and Social Work England registration costs will be covered. A market premium and a Golden Hello payment are also included on probation completion.
About You
* You must be a qualified Social Worker (holding a social work degree or equivalent) and be registered with Social Work England.
* A full driving licence with access to a vehicle is an essential requirement.
* As a registered Social Worker, you will bring knowledge of legislation and statutory guidance and be familiar with a strength-based approach, with particular experience and skills in working with young people and their families.
* You should show resilience, persistence and a supportive, adaptable approach in an outcome-focused way with partners such as education, health services, the community sector, housing, and care providers.
Responsibilities
* Be an ambassador and leader across social work, both internally and externally.
* Provide a high-quality and effective professional casework service, managing a caseload within appropriate supervision, dependent on case complexity and your experience.
* Comply with legislation, statutory guidance, and local policies and procedures.
* Deliver outstanding support to residents and ensure regular monitoring and review of care and support plans.
* Be competent in all areas of the Professional Capabilities Framework of Social Work.
