Requirements needed to become a Care Assistant with SureCare
Although experience in care is advantageous, we are accepting applications from people with no previous experience as full training will be provided. We are welcoming experience in hospitality, retail and customer service sectors to make use of those invaluable transferable skills needed to become an outstanding care assistant.
We also welcome applications from those having worked in care homes or with childcare experience.
Roles and responsibilities of being a Care Assistant with SureCare
4. Providing personal care, washing and dressing, oral care
5. Providing emotional support
6. Food preparation
7. Support with medication administration

Key Points:
11. Employment is subject to satisfactory enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references and the right to work in the UK
12. Completion of all SureCare theoretical and practical training
13. Required to work alternating weekends (weekend only jobs also available)
14. No experience or qualifications needed although experience is an advantage
15. Full and valid driver’s licence with own transport is essential

16. Hourly rates: £12.60 for weekdays, £13.70 for evenings (after 6pm) and for weekends
17. Bank holidays: £18.90 in the day and £20.55 after 6pm. Christmas Day and New Year’s Day are both paid at double time
18. Paid travel time for travelling between clients' homes
19. Paid mileage 30p per mile in addition to paid travel time
