Job Purpose
Assist with the provision of an efficient and effective integrated facilities management service within a Council/Partner premise, as well as the provision of a reactive service covering Janitorial, Cleaning, and Crossing patrols across a service area. Ensure the delivery and integration of the Council's key objectives, specifically in relation to the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement, and Best Value.
Requirements
The duties of the post involve Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants will be required to become a PVG Scheme member for Regulated Work with these groups, or if already a member, to undergo a PVG Scheme Record Update before any formal employment offer is made by East Ayrshire Council.

Responsibilities
This is a temporary full-time post based at Dalrymple Primary School.
The hours of work are 37 hours per week, as follows:
* Monday to Thursday: 7.30am - 4.00pm
* Friday: 7.30am - 3.30pm (with 1-hour break)
The salary for this post is £25,724 - £26,801 per annum.
