About the Role
We are seeking a part-time Teaching Assistant (TA) for a long-term position. The successful candidate will support children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and work closely with a dedicated team of TAs and teachers to provide tailored support for all pupils. The role offers flexible hours, with the possibility of additional days to cover ad hoc course requirements, staff absences, or other needs.
Key Requirements
A minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification, or at least six months’ experience working with children in an educational setting
Demonstrable experience delivering targeted interventions with pupils – essential
Exceptional verbal communication skills
Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations
Experience providing one-to-one support for children with additional learning needs
