​ * This vacancy closes on 7 October 2025 at 12 noon ​ We have an exciting opportunity for Member Assistants to join our Operations team supporting our Member Administration and Employers team. ​ Do you have great customer service skills? Do you want to learn new skills? ​ About us At Lothian Pension Fund (LPF), we administer the local government pension scheme (LGPS) in Edinburgh and the Lothians and are one of approximately a hundred LGPS funds in the UK. We’re an asset-backed and multi-employer scheme with around £10.3 billion of assets and the second largest LGPS fund in Scotland, serving approximately 95,400 members and 58 active employers. Track and record incoming data from Fund employers. Conduct data cleansing to improve the quality of the Fund’s data. Assist employers with requests and queries. Provide administrative support to the Member Services Team. Calculate basic scheme member's pension benefit entitlements. Participate in projects to improve our processes. ​ What experience are we looking for? ​ Proficient in MS office packages and previous computer software experience Customer focused and team player. Attention to detail and continuous improvement experience Previous customer service experience Clean vetting checks. ​ What else do you need to know? ​ This is a permanent position This is a full-time position working a 36-hour week between Monday and Friday There will a hybrid model of working, both from home and in our Edinburgh office Pre-employment screening will be carried out prior to joining
