Primary Teacher
Pay Scale: £140 - £200
Start Date: September 2025
Location: Pontefract WF8
Career Teachers are working with a lovely Primary School based in Pontefract, who require a Year 4 Teacher from September. The school is an inclusive 2 form-entry with supportive staff who work together to ensure the very best outcomes for their classes.
The right candidate will be highly organised with excellent classroom management skills. Setting high expectations at all times and helping to invigorate and inspire pupils throughout their journey.
You must be confident with behaviour management, be able to lead the support staff within your classroom and create informative schemes of work.
Ideally you will have great curriculum knowledge and the ability to make your lessons are both engaging and fun. Intervention/Boosters experience would be a real bonus but this is not essential.
ECTs are encouraged to apply.
Requirements:
Experience of teaching within Key Stage 2
Strong knowledge of the curriculum
SAT preparation, Booster and Intervention experience
The natural ability to plan and deliver the current primary curriculum with confidence
The ability to provide engaging, quality education to pupils
The ability be creative and demonstrate fun and intelligent classroom management skills
The ability to build strong relationships with the primary school staff, children and parents
