Job Title: Qualified Social Worker – Safeguarding Team

What will your responsibilities be?
You will support the Team Manager in managing a Safeguarding Team to deliver high-quality customer services to the public relating to adult social care and safeguarding, ensuring all customer service targets are met. You will work collaboratively with other managers across Adult Services and the wider health and social care system to maximise independence and improve outcomes for service users at every stage of ‘Making safeguarding personal’. You will refer for relevant assessments as required, such as Care Act Assessment, Human Rights Assessment, Risk Assessment, and Carers Assessment, to support individuals with particularly complex needs. You will be responsible for providing expert social care advice and support to a team of social care professionals in the Safeguarding Team. Additionally, you will ensure that all Adult at risk enquiries are completed in a timely way and transferred to other teams when appropriate. You will provide operational leadership and support as directed by the Team Manager to ensure the service achieves its Key Performance Indicators.

Qualifications and Experiences:
To be eligible for this role, you must have Social Work England registration and be eligible to work in the UK. Additionally, you need to hold a full UK driving licence and possess post-qualified experience. A degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work is also required.
