The Role We are looking for an FP&A Analyst to support a Senior Financial Analyst for the FP&A department for Retail UK&I. Your role will involve understanding financial performance, updating key financial monthly files and packs, forecasting, budgeting and resolving queries. You will also contribute to improving reporting, analysis, and planning practices. Please note this is a full-time, permanent opportunity. You will be based in our Maidstone office and ideally be onsite for 2-3 days per month on average. Key Responsibilities Support the Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A Manager and Retail UK&I FP&A teams with forecasting, budgeting and monthly financial reporting. Management Information and Monthly Reporting – production of key monthly reports to support greater understanding of the divisional financial results. Finance Processes - support key core finance activities including month end, planning and financial modelling. Forecasting and Budgeting - Help drive quarterly forecasting and budget process for the UK&I Retail Division and Central Ohs and help ensure deadlines are met. Monthly Analysis - Analyse large data sets to help further understand the monthly and YTD movements against budget and forecast and write comments for leadership to aid understanding of movements. Projects - Manage assigned projects and contribute to other projects as the need arises. FP&A Support - Support the Retail UK&I finance teams with accurate monthly reports, delivered on time and to high standard. Continuous Improvement – Look for ways to continuously improve reports and process to help save time in month end reporting. Key Skills and Knowledge Required Part qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc.). Experience with the preparation of management accounts (Cost centre accounting and knowledge of operational spend). Budgeting and Financial Analysis experience. Strong financial modelling skills, especially Excel (pivot tables, formulas, index match). Experience working with large data sets that require cleansing, mapping, and summarising.
