About the Role
This is a busy and varied part‑time role for a School Administrator at St Peter’s CE Primary School in Hixon, Staffordshire. The successful candidate will manage a range of administrative, organisational, HR and small financial processes to support the teachers, pupils and parents.
Location: St Peter’s CE Primary School, Church Lane, Hixon, Stafford. ST18 0PS.
Hours: 35 hours per week (8:30 am – 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday, inclusive of a 30‑minute lunch break).
Contract: Part‑time, Permanent, Term‑time Only (39 weeks per year).
Start date: January 2026 (to be confirmed).
Salary: £25,583 – £25,989 pro rata. Actual salary range: £20,908 – £21,240.
Job share: Applications for job share will be considered.
Responsibilities
* Provide first class supporting services to the school regime and students.
* Support school team members and act as a role model for the values and vision of the school.
* Provide excellent support with attendance and position management.
* Create suitable daily plans for staff, including parent, attendance and location data, ensuring clean, accurate and up‑to‑date systems across all subjects and location teams.
* Provide full support to the school’s financial systems (e.g. open and close budgets) and to payroll for parents and staff.
* Help to ensure the school remains compliant with statutory and legislative requirements.
* Provide expert support to the governance of the school, including the Annual Schools Visit, the development process for Ofsted inspection items and the annual inspection review of the school.
* Manage all office and administrative functions and maintain detailed analysis and reporting on the school’s administrative processes.

* Is reliable and conscientious with outstanding attention to detail.
* Has good IT skills and is able to cope with a busy and varied workload.
* Works well under pressure, prioritises tasks effectively and sees projects through to completion.
* Adapts well to change, is flexible, enthusiastic and able to work as part of a team.
