Pharmacy Assistant Technical Officer (ATO) Band 2
£23,615 pro rata per annum, part-time 15 hours per week.
Job Summary
North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare NHS Trust, Pharmacy department, is seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team. We provide medication to support the treatment of various mental health issues for patients across North Staffordshire.
You must be able to work as a team member and independently. Pharmacy experience is not essential; however, you must be willing to work towards an NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services.
Working hours are between 09:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday (to be arranged with the team), primarily based at Harplands Hospital.
Main Duties
* Effective stock management of all pharmaceuticals.
* Safe and efficient supply and return of medication/pharmacy orders to wards/departments.
* Dispensing medications for inpatients and outpatients.
* Carrying out ATO duties, including reception, communication with wards and departments regarding medication supplies, replenishing emergency stocks, expiry date checking, stock taking, and ward stock top-up duties.
