Senior Vehicle Technician Needed in Warwickshire
1. Location: Leamington Spa
2. Salary: Up to £42,000 depending on experience (overtime potential + bonus) (£45K OTE)
3. Working Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, no weekends)
4. Benefits: 24 days holiday + bank holiday, Overtime paid at time and a half + productivity bonus, Pension & sick pay scheme.
Our client is a customer-focused, professional independent garage renowned for delivering excellent customer service. They are expanding and looking to hire skilled Senior Vehicle Technician to join their dynamic workshop team.
What You'll Be Doing as a Senior Vehicle Technician with Our Client:
5. Maintain quality standards delivered from the workshop carrying out quality checks as required
6. Carry out Vehicle Health Checks
7. Evaluate Vehicle Health Checks for accuracy, clarity and requirement for additional work.
8. Undertake general servicing, repairs and maintenance of customer vehicles including clutches, cambelts, wet belts and timing chains.
9. Mentor junior workshop team members to improve technical capability and performance.
10. Support performance evaluations of the Technical Team
11. Lead technical diagnosis and fault resolution.
What's Required from You? Our client expects from their Vehicle Technician:
12. NVQ, IMI, ATA, or City & Guilds (C&G) Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair is ideal.
13. Sufficient hands-on experience in a workshop environment; we seek technicians ready to hit the ground running.
14. A valid UK driving license.
15. Must be friendly, dynamic, hard-working, passionate, and reliable.
