This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual to join to our multi-disciplinary design/project management team. Our team deliver a range of housing related capital investment projects in both low rise and high-rise housing, demolitions, retirement and amenity complex refurbishments ranging in scale and complexity, as we strive to deliver innovative solutions to meet current and future challenges.

As a Project Co-Ordinator, providing a vital client management role, you will work with a combination of internal and external consultants and contractors to develop projects and support delivery. You should have a technical design background and knowledge of contract administration will be critical complying with legal agreements, various contract agreements whilst complying with relevant regulations and industry standards. Focusing on oversight of a project from inception to completion, working collaboratively with services, partners and stakeholders alongside preparing and monitoring project documentation.

Our projects are to be delivered in accordance with the RIBA Plan of Work and North Lanarkshire Councils governance and risk strategies and valued at over £68m.

We’re looking for a proactive and results-driven individual who thrives in a dynamic environment. You’ll bring a flexible approach to work, strong self-motivation, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting tight deadlines. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills are essential, along with solid IT proficiency and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

You should hold an SVQ Level 3 or HNC in a relevant discipline and have substantial experience in project development and coordinating successful implementation within the design and construction industry. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to actively listen are key, as you’ll work closely with partners and stakeholders to build effective relationships and deliver outcomes.

You must be able to travel throughout North Lanarkshire to undertake the duties of this role.

As Project Coordinator, you may be required to participate in a rota to facilitate the out of hours’ response service during evenings and weekends.

Work pattern:

35 hours per week - Monday - Thursday: 08:45am - 16:45pm (including a 55 minute unpaid break);

Friday: 08:45am - 16:15pm (including a 50 minute unpaid break)
