The Role
As a Year 3 Teacher, your core responsibilities will include:

Planning & Delivery: Design and deliver inspiring lessons across the National Curriculum for English, Mathematics, Science, History, Geography, Art, and DT, tailored to Year 3 learners.

Assessment & Feedback: Use formative and summative assessments to track pupil progress, set targets, and provide constructive feedback that motivates and guides.
*
Classroom Environment: Establish a stimulating, inclusive classroom that encourages curiosity, independence, and a love of learning.

Behaviour Management: Apply positive behaviour strategies to maintain high standards of conduct and foster mutual respect.

Parental Communication: Build strong partnerships with families through regular updates, parent–teacher meetings, and workshops.

Extra-curricular Leadership: Lead at least one after-school club or enrichment activity termly—whether that’s a choir, gardening club, or coding group!

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): With proven experience teaching Year 3 or lower Key Stage 2.
