Finance Assistant
We are currently seeking a mature, responsible individual to join our team as a Finance Assistant. You will be part of a larger team but will be required to be able to use your own initiative and work independently when required.
We are a family run business based in Bradford City Centre, we are an estate agent who sell and let properties. The role would be ideal for someone looking for a challenging position who has some relevant experience in the finance sector.
The role:
· Entering supplier invoices and allocating them to the correct property
· Reconciliation of customer accounts and investigate queries
· Bank reconciliations
· Posting monies received by clients
· Managing petty cash
· General book keeping duties
· Dealing with the return of deposits
· Assist with the collection of rent – sending texts/emails and sending statements to people in arrears and monthly statements to landlords
· Answer telephone and communicate with tenants/landlords/staff
· Take card payments over the telephone
· Experience with Sage software would be an advantage, although training can be given
· Assisting with VAT returns
· Assisting with audits at specific times of the year
· Assisting the team and Finance Administrator with all other daily tasks
What are the terms:
· Your working hours will be between 15 – 20 hours per week over 4-week days and a Saturday morning- this can be negotiated slightly
· 28 days holiday per year including bank holidays
· Office based
· Immediate start

· Great with Microsoft office
· Passionate about numbers
· Good diary management
· Able to work to target dates
· Good oral and written communication skills
