Pertemps Didcot are currently recruiting for a Cover Manager on behalf of a local secondary school in Abingdon. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational and interpersonal skills to play a key role in ensuring high-quality teaching and learning continues in the absence of staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day cover for absent teaching and support staff.
Coordinate and support cover supervisors.
Maintain and develop staff absence recording systems.
Liaise with supply agencies and manage related budgets.
Provide accurate data to support leadership decisions.
Ensure students receive appropriate learning materials during staff absences.Requirements:
GCSEs or equivalent qualifications.
Strong administrative, organisational, and communication skills.
Experience working as part of a team and managing multiple priorities.
Confident using Microsoft Office and other IT systems.
Knowledge of Bromcom (or willingness to learn) is desirable
