We are recruiting a compassionate and dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support children and young people aged 5–16 within a specialist education setting. This is a full-time role with an immediate start, working 8.30am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday.

Pupils have a range of Special Educational Needs, including: Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Communication and sensory processing difficulties and Associated learning and behavioural needs
Key Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 tailored support throughout the school day
* Assist with learning activities, routines and emotional regulation
* Encourage engagement, confidence and independence
* Work closely with teachers and specialist staff
Requirements
* Minimum 6 months childcare experience, especially supporting children with SEN needs
* Experience in SEN or specialist settings is highly desirable
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle due to the school’s location

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
