Pulse have recently partnered with a leading healthcare provider. We are currently looking for an experienced Audiologist who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership for the service. This post is based in Aberdeen/Inverness, which is easily accessible via public transport.
About the role:
As an Audiologist, you will beworking in a clinical and service development capacity to ensure the service to patients is planned, delivered, and evaluated in line with evidence-based practice. Working closely with the multi-disciplinary team to help create and maintain a robust service whilst seamlessly incorporating other centre services.
Your main responsibilities as a n Audiologist:
1. Manage a daily schedule of adults with hearing loss.
2. Pure Tone Audiometry, including masking as required.
3. Tests for non-organic hearing loss.
4. Testing for Noise-Induced Hearing Loss.
5. Taking aural impressions and selection of appropriate ear moulds.
6. Programming/fitting of appropriate hearing instruments.
What we are looking for in a n Audiologist:
7. Qualified Audiologist with HCPC/RCCP Registration
8. Full UK drivers’ licence for at least 2 years
9. The ability to work in a Domiciliary Care environment
