The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Credit Control Assistant to support a busy finance team. The role focuses on assisting with the credit control process, ensuring timely payment collections, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Record and allocate incoming payments to the correct customer accounts.
2. Provide support with daily credit control activities.
3. Generate and distribute monthly account statements.
4. Digitise and send proof of delivery (POD) documents.
5. Assist the Credit Control Manager and Finance Team with various ad hoc tasks.
6. Carry out credit checks for new customers and help set up their accounts.
7. Undertake additional administrative duties as needed.
Criteria:
8. Prior experience in credit control or finance admin (desirable).
9. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
10. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
11. Desire to learn and develop new skills within the position.
