Overview
SEND Teacher / Interim HLTA (Food & Nutrition). Temporary cover - staff absence following an operation.
You will join our team on a temporary assignment to teach Food and Nutrition alongside a range of Key Stage 3 subjects to students with Education Health and Care Plans, whose primary needs are social, emotional and mental health (SEMH).
Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that support both academic and personal development.
* Foster confidence, self-esteem, and positive well-being in students.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and multi-agency professionals.
* Play an active role in the wider school community.
Essential requirements
* HLTA / teaching experience within a SEND or SEMH setting.
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
* Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification.
* Ability to build positive, supportive relationships with young people.
Contract
Temporary, to cover while a staff member recovers from an operation.
