Overview
Due to expansion we are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Patrol Officer to join our security team in Edinburgh. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment through proactive surveillance and intervention strategies. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations.

The current shift schedule is 4 days on, 4 days off, totalling 48 hours per week, but we are happy to adjust to meet with your requirements. Initially, the hours will be for night shifts and weekends.
Additional hours can be achieved when covering annual leave and sickness.
The role is permanent and a full time position
Duties
* Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter and detect signs of criminal activity or safety hazards.
* Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing first aid when necessary.
* Engage with the public and staff to provide assistance and information, fostering a sense of security within the community.
* Report any suspicious activities or incidents to the appropriate authorities in a timely manner.
* Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations for review by management.
Experience
* Previous experience in is advantageous but not mandatory. as we provide ongoing training and Inductions.
* Strong observational skills and attention to detail are crucial for identifying potential threats or issues.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective reporting and interaction with the public.
* You are required to hold a valid and current Door Supervision or Security Guarding SIA Licence.
* You are also required to have a valid UK Driving Licence, be over the age of 23 for insurance reasons, and have a minimum of two years' driving experience in the UK.
