Role Description:
The Industrialisation Engineer acts as a key interface between Program and Operations Managers, engineering, and technical experts. Responsibilities include supporting internal and outsourced operations, process improvement, product industrialization, supplier liaison, and ensuring compliance throughout the product lifecycle. The role involves leading process improvement activities, managing technical specifications, and collaborating on cost-saving initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead process improvement and product industrialization activities, including PFMEA, control plans, risk assessments, DVI, and PPAP.
* Support product industrialization from prototype to mass production, including DFM and DTC reviews.
* Conduct process audits, manage corrective actions, and define critical process parameters.
* Develop and validate technical and process specifications, ensuring compliance and risk management.
* Identify cost-saving opportunities and lead initiatives for process and cost improvements.
* Support capital investment proposals and deploy process improvements, including new tools and maintenance strategies.
Qualifications and Experience:
* HNC / HND in mechanical, electronics, or production engineering or equivalent experience.
* Experience in complex manufacturing or engineering environments, with NPI and concurrent engineering experience preferred.
* Proficiency in DFM, DTC, SPC, PFMEA, and process improvement methodologies.
* Strong communication skills and ability to influence at all levels.
* Knowledge of legislative requirements such as REACH and HSE.
