About the Role:
As a Social Worker in this team, you'll deliver a child-centred, trauma-informed service focused on support, protection, and long-term positive outcomes. Working closely with families and professionals across health, education, and police, you’ll be a key player in creating sustainable change.
You’ll contribute to policy, practice, and service improvement, while always keeping the child’s voice at the heart of decision-making.

What You'll Bring:
We’re looking for a compassionate, skilled, and proactive Social Worker who can:
8. Use professional expertise to assess risk, plan interventions, and deliver positive change
9. Build strong relationships with children and families, using strengths-based approaches
10. Navigate multi-agency settings with excellent communication and collaboration skills
11. Uphold high standards of safeguarding, inclusion, and empowerment
Requirements:
12. Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England
13. 4+ years post-qualified experience in Children’s Services
14. Strong understanding of Child Protection legislation
15. Experience working with vulnerable children and families
16. Skilled in assessment, mediation, planning, and partnership working
In This Role You Will:
17. Manage a defined caseload of children and families
18. Undertake full risk and needs assessments
19. Develop personalised care and safety plans
20. Contribute to service development and best practice
21. Support unqualified staff and social work students
