As part of this role you will work in the Support Services department to gain an overall knowledge of some of the following areas that Support Services are responsible for:
Finance and Payroll
Travel
PA support
Purchasing
Welfare support
Medical Centre support
MOD administration support
Events, Protocol and Defence Engagement
3rd Party Income Generation Events
Security and Vetting
Serco uniforms and staff induction
To provide administrative support to the Leadership team and assist with special projects
To provide cover for other Lead Administrators during periods of increased workload or absence.
Continuously examine processes and make recommendations for improvements.
Be proactive within the department and assist your colleagues and customers to achieve a high level of service
Who we are looking for Exceptional Academic Background: Currently enrolled in a relevant degree programme with a solid academic record.
Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to articulate ideas clearly and work effectively with others.

The Defence Academy sits within a beautiful and secure site which hosts 2 lakes and is surrounded by acres of scenic woodland. The Academy trains the future commanders and staff officers of all three UK Armed Services and those from many countries around the world.
