Overview
An established, UK-wide, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy is seeking a Structural Design Engineer to join their growing team based in Prestwick. This opportunity is well suited to an engineer with approximately 2-5 years' experience and a strong foundation in structural design.
Responsibilities
Work on a diverse range of projects across sectors such as residential, education, and refurbishment, alongside broader multidisciplinary schemes. Projects are handled from early concept through to delivery, producing structural calculations, drawings, and technical reports while working closely with experienced engineers and other design disciplines.
Qualifications
* Degree in Structural Engineering
* 2-5 years of experience with a strong foundation in structural design
* Experience within a UK consultancy environment
* Good understanding of current design codes and structural software
* Strong communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach
Salary & Development
Competitive salary of £30,000-£35,000 depending on experience, with structured support towards Chartership through IStructE.
