Facilities & Practice Details
* Four consult rooms including one dedicated for nurse clinics
* Spacious theatre and a dental suite with dental X-ray, digital X-ray, ultrasound, and a well-stocked lab
* Separate waiting areas for cats and dogs; large kennels including a separate cat ward
* Calm, inviting atmosphere with generous staff rooms and a dedicated admin/lunch-and-learns area
* Well-stocked biscuit tin
* Equipment: Ultrasound, Refractometer, Multiparameter, tonometer, blood pressure machine, digital radiography including dentistry, endoscope, heating devices, extended orthopaedic kit, exotics equipment
Our main practice is based in Kingsthorpe, Northampton, with a satellite consulting branch in Far Cotton. You’ll need a driving licence and your own car for occasional travel between sites, but you’ll enjoy working across two well-equipped environments where no two days are the same.
Responsibilities
* Balance of consults and surgery for small animal patients
* Manage a wide variety of cases from routine spays and castrations to soft tissue work, lump removals, and dentals
* Provide meaningful case workups during consults and build lasting relationships with clients
Team & Development
* Supportive and experienced team with five vets, including certificate holders in Radiography & Imaging and Small Animal Medicine
* Active role for RVNs in patient care, surgery assistance, running their own clinics, and practice operations
* Opportunities for development through IVC Evidensia Academy, certificates, and research funding eligibility

Kingsthorpe is a charming, well-connected suburb of Northampton with a village-like atmosphere, convenient city access, and easy transport links to London, Birmingham, and beyond.
Working Pattern & Salary
* Flexible working patterns to suit your lifestyle
* Weekly hours up to 30 hours per week
* Share in a Saturday morning rota of 1:3 (potentially changing to 1:6)
* No OOH or on-call requirements
* Salary up to £65,000 DOE per FTE
