GSL Education are currently seeking a skilled Computer Science Teacher to work in schools across the S70 and S71 areas of Barnsley. As a Computer Science (CS) Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that develop pupils’ understanding of programming, computational thinking, and digital literacy, while encouraging practical skills and creative problem-solving. Prime Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons in line with the curriculum. Teach programming, algorithms, computer systems, and digital literacy. Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback. Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Contribute to departmental planning and enrichment activities. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Experience working as a Computer Science Teacher in a school setting. Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
