Westland Horticulture is seeking an experienced National Account Manager to join our dynamic sales team. This is a high-profile role driving sustainable, profitable growth across our key grocery accounts in the UK.
We’re looking for a commercial, results-driven professional with a proven track record in FMCG, managing multiples, delivering revenue and margin targets, and developing long-term, strategic customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver and exceed volume, margin, and P&L targets across all garden channels
2. Develop business plans, identify market opportunities, and provide complete commercial solutions for key retail multiples
3. Maintain strong customer relationships, conducting business planning and account visits to maximize growth opportunities
4. Lead the execution of product launches, merchandising, and account activations
5. Develop proposals, negotiate terms, and implement contractual agreements with accountability for financial results
6. Champion New Product Development (NPD), brand growth, and marketing initiatives across internal teams
7. Manage and motivate Junior NAMs / Sales Executives, driving team performance and alignment with overall sales strategy
8. Support the adoption of ERP, eCommerce, and digital technologies to drive sales opportunities
