A growing boutique accounting practice in Belfast is seeking a Chartered Accountant to join their team. The role focuses on providing proactive, value-added advisory services to a diverse client base, without audit work and offers fast-tracked career opportunities as the practice continues to expand. Key Responsibilities Advise clients on managing their businesses, finances, and personal tax affairs Prepare and interpret management accounts, KPI reports, and financial forecasts Assist with cash flow planning, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making Provide guidance on tax-efficient profit extraction, capital gains, VAT, R&D tax relief, and property taxation Prepare statutory accounts, corporation tax, VAT, payroll, and self-assessment returns Support client compliance with all relevant regulations and filing requirements Manage client relationships and provide high-quality service across a portfolio of clients Candidate Requirements BSc in Accounting or related discipline 3 years experience in a general practice Chartered Accountant environment Chartered status Ability to prepare accounts from core records, personal and corporate tax returns, and financial forecasts Strong knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards and UK/Irish tax law Excellent client management, communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable using cloud-based accounting systems (Xero, QuickBooks, Receipt Bank, Hubdoc) Benefits Competitive salary with performance bonus Early finish on Fridays 30 days annual leave including 10 statutory holidays Pension plan Professional and career development opportunities Friendly, supportive, and collaborative office culture
